Evil Bob Campaigns

I'll be doing several contests during the game.  Here is the first one.
Best Original Avatar.
Rules
There will be two winners in two categories.
Category 1
Best Original Avatar: Must be an original artwork.  Hand drawn, painted or digitally created.  Prize: 10 XP
Best Modified Avatar: Using existing pictures and artwork and using digital tools to modify them you create a new artwork. Prize 5 XP
They will be judged by the GM on how well the fit into the L5R setting, skill of the techniques used and general badassness.
Contest will end on October 15th and winner will be announced on the 16th.

Posting my entry into modified.

Took the scene from seven samurai with the guy killing the attacker behind him in the rain.  Gimped in a spear rather than sword and put a forest in the background rather than palisades to create an image of Kaemon tracking in a forestclearing in the rain.

Not that good, but it's the first time I've tried something like this.

Posting my entry into the modified category.  I used a wall paper I collaborated on with a roommate of in college.  The color scheme didn't really work so I changed it to greyscale and it  really looks like a Forrest in winter.   I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out.

I just took an image and cropped/scaled it down right, sharpened it, improved the line weight and then slapped a pretty border on it.

I also played with pre-existing elements, applying my petty skills to them.

Avatar change: definitely not my own, just a little bit of cropping, but certainly fits! :)

Mine had a bit of a color job, nothing special. But I am thinking of drawing an Okami-style version of Asaho. ;D

Yes I did. 

I used Deleter CGillust as my main tool for creating the image and then I used Photoshop to finish the image.

Wow, it's actually hard to find if you want to buy it.  Most of the links on their site are dead.

And the worst part is that she's stingy with it.  Won't even make me an avatar even though I bribed her with dinner and a foot massage.

Sounds like she wants you to bribe her with other things that are "it". Dare we speculate?

Trying a new avvie... just because it is less dressed up/prettied up, which is in tune with the character.

I love it! I think it is even cuter! Yay! It makes me smile to look at XD Gahahaha
