I'm not against Shugenjas in my company, I just expect them to fare as well in mundane combat as in casting spells. We can't be one man down just because Shugenja get's silenced.

Impervious to the chants of the priests. The use of the shugenja is optimal in non-combat situations as healing or attending to the religious need of the squads.

I remember how the Isawa chanted their prowess in war thanks to their shugenja. I also remember the sound of their eyes widening when I assaulted their flank. Brief sound though. Arrows make chanting a bit hard.

Squad 1 is forbidden to any sort of Shugenja. Shugenja should be in their place. The temple. Praying.
