Finally submitted my background.

Kajimori is the name of the forest that fills most of the valley.  Most of the trees in the forest lose their leaves in the fall so are bear in the winter time.

Just a funny typo. I\'ve read location descriptions today, and I like them. They are atmospheric enough to make this an interesting place.

We can be popular with the npcs of squad 2 Miki! I think my choice of a larger font size and the general change of writing with one put people off of mine. You try doing something different and people don't like it. I guess that is why there is pop and all the other genres of music... and why pop sells more than the rest combined. Maybe we should have both done something more generic?

So, in short, no I won't read changed stories.

I should get around to doing a office description as well as reading and commenting on the other stories. I am hoping at least something on mine but probably wont happen.

I'm just going to go on the record and say that I won't re-read fictions. Once I have given an opinion, it's final. I don't like that changes (barring fixing typos) are continually added after comments from readers, since that means the previous comments given are either void, or the story have been changed to suit what people wanted to see in it. To me, it feels like a form of cheating.

So, in short, no I won't read changed stories.

I feel like it is better from the comments; I use it as criticism to correct and improve it; like anything I write.

Okay, so I don't have a set character in mind as yet. This is because I usually see games limited to number of characters per clan, and so I base my character concept partly on which clan still isn't filled. Since that doesn't apply here, that leaves me wondering what spots still need to be filled. So, is there any sort of character 'lack' at all? For example, does the game already have enough courtier/shugenja? Are there any other legion roles that still don't have PC representation? Or is this more of a 'make a character now, find a squad to be welcomed to later' deal?

Currently, I'm considering a Tamori (this account name is admittedly a placeholder), but a) there's a fair bit of Dragon representation already and b) I'm not aware of how likely it is that this Legion would have accepted a Tamori in Suzaku.

There are some fights that can be won with tactics and bravery... for everything else, there's jade strike.

Don't let Iori hear you say water spells are only for healing, she might turn into a bear and eat you and your horse.  Or just lift you and the horse up and toss you off a cliff.  She's scary.

Impervious to the chants of the priests. The use of the shugenja is optimal in non-combat situations as healing or attending to the religious need of the squads.

I remember how the Isawa chanted their prowess in war thanks to their shugenja. I also remember the sound of their eyes widening when I assaulted their flank. Brief sound though. Arrows make chanting a bit hard.

Oh, I'm just mocking the use of word straight to define heterosexuality. It is an ethically laden term, to which opposition would be curved, astray or something less positive else. I think other romantic options are straight no less in the sense of being good an proper, but this is often denied to them.

In addition, I too am definitely heterosexual in my RL choices but I fail to see how it'd preclude my fictional preferences and explorations.
